Fiberoctopus

BIO
Fiberoctopus is a new band out of San Diego. Actually, Fiberoctopus was born prematurely in March 2001: Gavin (guitar and vocals), Chris (bass), and a crappy drum machine (beats).. the band practiced just 2 or 3 times before going on an extended hiatus. Then in early 2005, Fiberoctopus was reborn for 3 months or so, but this time with Chris on drums. In May 2006, Gavin went ahead and resurrected Fiberoctopus as a solo project. Roughly a year later, Chris rejoined on bass, and was soon joined by newcomer Karie (additional vocals and percussion). Finally coming to life as a "real band," Fiberoctopus began playing live in the summer of 2007. Gavin also still does solo recording under the name, so it's kinda like a couple projects in one.

HELP WANTED
While happy as a trio, Fiberoctopus would likely be receptive to bringing in additional musicians to fill out the sound. A drummer, in particular, would be nice. And multi-instrumentalist types are always fun to have around.. ie, someone who can handle keyboard, accordion, horn, and/or whatever.
